About this campaign

My daughter adopted Mumba about 10 months ago as my granddaughter really wanted a dog. Mumba was previously not allowed in doors and was very scared when he found his forever home He is now a happy boy living with my daughter and granddaughter Mumba first was diagnosed with heart worm and my daughter took him back several times until the test confirmed he was healthy.

Mumba is my granddaughter best friend. He sleeps with her and is her playmate. Mumba normally loves being outdoors and recently started yelping in pain and having difficulty walking He sits on the couch next to me with his head nested in my lap and just loves to be cuddled. He is a funny dog as he is usually very active and excited when anyone is over

Mumba likes to jump on furniture and run around and chase my granddaughter. He likes to share his and her toys and they play together Mumba likes to share my granddaughters food and waits behind her for anything she may drop. Mumba is a special boy and we new the moment we met him Mumba has unique white spots on him

Mumba was seen at Banfield Vets and X-rays and blood work and pain meds and anti inflammatory meds were prescribed. He continued with pain so my daughter took him for another opinion and more meds. X-rays did not show anything broken so they are recommending CATSCAN and MRI as they think it is neurological like a pinched nerve. The costs are estimated between 3 and 5 thousand dollars .

My daughter is a single mother who works and pays for day care and all her and my granddaughter expenses. She is a waitress and during COVID she has not been able to make the normal wages as people have not been dining out as much. She has many bills and can not afford this
