When Munni was rescued by the Stray Animal Foundation of India (SAFI), veterinarians discovered she was suffering from a mammary tumor. Given her age, the medical team carefully evaluated whether surgery would be in her best interest. After thorough assessment, the veterinarians agreed: removing the tumor offers Munni her best chance at comfort and quality of life.

Munni has now undergone diagnostic testing and has begun receiving supportive medications to help stabilize her and prepare her for surgery. Once she is medically ready, she will undergo a tumor removal surgery to relieve her pain and prevent further complications.

This procedure is not about extending life at any cost—it is about giving Munni relief, dignity, and comfort in her senior years.

We’re so grateful to share that Munni’s surgery was successful. This sweet senior, who has endured so much in her life, bravely underwent her tumor removal procedure — and we’re relieved to say she is recovering well. After everything she’s been through, seeing her finally experience relief and comfort means everything.

For the first time in a long time, Munni is no longer carrying the pain of her tumor. She is resting, healing, and being cared for with the gentleness she has always deserved.

But while this is a huge step forward for Munni, the financial burden of her care remains. Her diagnostics, medications, surgery, and post-operative care have added up, and we still need help covering these critical medical expenses.
