Musubi is a 9-year-old Old English Bulldog in Seattle, WA, who needs $2,000 for Tumor removal surgery.

Musubi joined our family in 2015 when my husband and I were still dating. 9 years later, a wedding between us, and three young children (4.5, almost 3, and 6 months old), Musubi is the older dog brother to our children and loved by all.

Unlike most bulldogs, Musubi absolutely loves the ocean and loves to swim. He is happiest when he is curled up in front of our fireplace or swimming on a leash and chasing rocks that we throw our for him.

Musubi loves to sit in human chairs. If he could have his way, he would join us in a human chair at the dinner table every night. Hi 85+ pounds make this a bit tricky for him but when he makes it up there, he will stay talking and interacting long into the night.

We took Musubi to our primary vet in December 2023 because he had a small growth on his behind. They told us to keep an eye on it but it just looked like an infection. By January, this growth had tripled in size so we took him back in. They tested the area and thankfully it is not cancerous but we just met with the surgeon (who said this is the biggest tumor of this type they had ever seen).

We have no emergency fund for our dog. We have three small children and pay for all of them to be in school as there is no free pre-primary program around us. We are struggling financially and will take any help we can get to go toward helping Musubi remove this tumor.
