About this campaign
I recused Mya at 8 years old, she was scheduled to be euthanized because the shelter couldn't hold her anymore. I've had her for almost five years now, and she is my everything, I don't have family, friends or a partner, so she literally is my whole world. Shes very shy, but the sweetest cat I've ever had the privilege of knowing.
Over the last week, I noticed she's been peeing more than usual. I brought her into an ER and they said she has DK (diabetes) and is close to developing DKA, I have an appointment tomorrow at subsidized hospital, (TAHO hospital in Columbus ohio) I don't qualify for any financial assistance, so this is my last chance of being able to afford her appointment.
I live alone, and I'm estranged from my family, I also don't have close friends or a partner, so she's all I have. She is my child, and I'd do anything for her. I struggle immensely with depression, and she has saved me more times than I can count. I'm not ready to lose her yet, I'm so worried.
I work full time as a music teacher, but I only generate 32k a year before taxes, I normally can afford her vet, but this treatment is far more expensive than what I'm used too.
