Mya came into my life when she was only 8 weeks old, and I was only 11 years old. I begged for a dog and finally got my wish and she’s been apart of our family since.

Mya got diagnosed with cataracts early 2024, by December 2024 it turned to an ulcer, we started aggressive treatment, and nothing was working. We found out she now has glaucoma in that one he, and we are being recommended to have the eye removed surgically.

Mya & I have a special bond, she has been there through every up and down in my life from a little 11 year old girl to a now 24 year old woman. Mya is now my 3 year old daughter’s best friend as well. Our family doesn’t look at Mya as just a dog, we look at her as part of our family

We found out that the surgery is going to cost us close to $2000. I am currently a young mom, and a student in school getting my degree. With the amount of vet visits needed for this diagnosis, I have spent a lot of money and in need of some financial assistance.
