Myles is a 4-year-old Terrier Mix in Hacienda Heights, CA, who needs $2,000 for TPLO Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy Surgery and Rehab.

Myles won my heart four years ago when a family friend called looking to rehome a friends puppy. Myles arrived and immediately showed signs of abandonment issues, crate anxiety, and I knew she just needed love. I absolutely welcomed this beautiful pup into my life. She's become my shadow, my furry child, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I love her dearly, all I want to do is make her better.

Myles is the oldest fur baby out of five. She is graceful, respectful, and follows the rules. Myles craves to be around the family and truly believes she is not part of the fur pack. She is a snuggle bug, loves to burrow under the blankets for warmth and connection, and uses her beautiful eyes to communicate with us. Myles can be demanding and believes she is superior above all our other dogs.

Myles is home land security and monitors all fun levels while keeping a close inventory on all the toys and tennis balls in the house. She dislikes any clothing and will immediately freeze in her tracks until the article is removed. Myles can be a bit judgy around the other four family pets and tends to look down due to her sass, intuitive nature and clear understanding of our human language.

At first I thought one of our Labrador Retrievers jumped on Myles in play, however after investigating, my sister witnessed her land wrong on her right hind leg after a jump. Since then, she developed a limp and then started to raise the whole leg to hobble around. Today the orthopedic surgeon stated she snapped her CCL completely, is in pain, and needs surgery before her other leg is damaged.

Myles' injury was sudden and we are a bit shellshocked. We hate to see her in pain and wish for her to have an active life once again. The orthopedic surgery will cost $7,500 and we will also need a brace to help the 4 month rehab that can cost between $300-$500.
