Myles is a 11 year old Turkish Van in Oak Forest , IL, who needs $2,000 for Dental Extraction.

Myles came into our lives almost 12 years ago now. Since then she has added so much joy to mine and my husband’s lives. She is a beautiful, sweet, loving girl who deserves the best we can offer.

We took Myles in for her wellness exam at Thrive Pet Healthcare and brought up our concerns regarding her front canine tooth. What was supposed to be a routine appointment became a heartbreaking one as we were told she has Feline odontoclastic resorptive lesion (FORL). It is one of the most common and painful oral diseases amongst cats. She will need several teeth removed.

Myles was and remains just as spry as the day she came into our lives. She loves to hide in bags, chase toys, and enjoys playing with her sister (our one year old daughter). She doesn’t appreciate the vacuum, but she loves a good thunderstorm and gazing outside. She loves a good scratch under her tiny chin, and she loves to watch tv at night to unwind with mom and dad.

My husband works full time and I work 5 days a week, as much as I possibly can, while my daughter is watched by both sets of her grandparents. We have recently come under hard times financially as our home we just purchased has had unforeseen problems as well as this news.
