Nala has been with me through thick and thin. I received her as a puppy when I was pregnant with my (now 2 year old) daughter. I had a really rough pregnancy and Nala made sure to let me know I was not alone. She always takes my spot in bed when I get up in the middle of the night. I suffer from chronic depression, and sometimes when I have a hard time getting out of bed, my husband will send Nala to the rescue with her sweet kisses that seem to make everything better. My marriage with my husband is extremely rocky and I often feel like Nala and my daughter are all I have in this world. I can't imagine my life without her, we've been through so much and have made so many memories together.
