About this campaign
My grandma is suffering from dementia so we had to become her dogs caregiver. In that time we discovered a small cut on her tail. It progressively got worse because Nala began picking at the cut and re-opened the wound. She was taken to the vet and the vet just wrapped the tail with no further instructions. We had to get a second opinion and the vet suggests amputation and need help.
Nala loves walking, playing with her other pet siblings. She loves the outdoors she loves and enjoys playing with her pet toys. She loves to sit with me will I’m enjoying my tv shows and sometimes tries to sneak and eat my food when I’m not looking. She can be very sneaky sometimes but I catch her in act every-time.
Nala looks so excited when she plays with her toy and love’s attention. Like I mentioned before she can sometimes be sneaky but she listens when corrected and when she behaves she loves beef jerky. She will eat almost anything. She is very cooperative when I have to wrap her injured tail but she doesn’t like the E collar
We had to take Nala to the second vet, and the bill is approximately 2,400 for all the medical needs. Some of the procedure includes medication, anesthesia, iv catheter, injectables, amputation of the tail, neutering, bandages and stay at the hospital. With your help I hope we can get Nala back on track and to her old self as soon as possible.
I work part time and my job does not cover my animals medical expenses. I have been struggling financially due to being layoff due to the pandemic and I have been trying to recover from not having a full time job.
