Nala is a 5 year old Mix-Breed in Lancaster, PA, who needs $2,000 for Chemotherapy.

Nala came from a rescue in NJ. Her name was Penne back then until the woman we were dealing with said her grandkids were calling her Nala and I said, that's it. Nala is playful, gentle and loving. She lives with her 2 sisters and a brother. Her sisters are Kia, an American Staffordshire Terrier Mix, Baily, a Border Collie Mix and her brother, Kylo is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi.

Nala has just been diagnosed with Lymphoma at the young age of 5 yrs old. We're meeting with the Oncologist in a couple of days to go over how to move forward

Nala is my barker. A person, a person with a dog, someone on a bike or even a squirrel or bunny she barks at it. She is also gentle and loving and loves to put her head on you when we're sitting on the couch. She's been sitting in my youngest daughters lap since she was 3 months old and still thinks she's a lap dog

So unfortunately her diagnosis couldn't have come at a worst time since this is the first time in almost 40 yrs my husband has been laid off work. We want to give her the best we can of the remainder of her life. We won't let her suffer. She's part of our family
