Nala is a 5-year-old Boxer/Pitbull in Marysville, WA, who needs $2,000 for Tumor and Cyst Removal and Biopsy.

Nala was looking for a home when she was about 10 weeks old. Her previous owner never disclosed why, but said she wasn’t able to care for her. Unfortunately, they didn’t disclose that she had Parvo at the time. Thankfully, I got her to the vet and treated and nala kicked parvo in the butt. She currently lives with her owner in Washington state, but has lived in Georgia and Florida as well.

Nala has an older brother named Simba that she ADORES and just loves picking on. Even though he is twice her size he’s definitely the wimpier of the too and will take all the ear chews that she gives. When she’s not running around full of energy she loves to curl up under a blanket like a human and lay her head down on a pillow. Her loud snores will let you know just how spoiled she it.

Not only is Nala one of the most energetic and playful dogs one could ever meet, but she’s always incredibly protective of her older brother as well as her human family. She’s always first to investigate any strange noises and make sure the coast is always clear. Her snaggle tooth smile is always shining brightly through when she knows she’s done a job well done to protect her family.

Recently Nala had a trip to the vet due to some growths that have appeared on her chest and toe. Thankfully the one on her chest was able to be sampled and is just a cyst that needs removal. Her toe tumor is possibly cancerous though but due to its location it isn’t able to be sampled until it’s removed. She will have to lose a toe from the size of it or possibly more if it gets bigger like it has

Unfortunately due to family issues money is incredibly tight. We are currently expecting our first child and most of our funds have been taken up by getting ready for our newest family member. But we won’t let Nala slip into the cracks and be forgotten.
