Nala is a 3-year-old Terrier in Newnan, GA, who needs $1,500 for an esophageal balloon dilation and feeding tube.

Nala is 3 years old, she will be 4 years old in June and I have had her and her sister Penny since they were 8 weeks old! The 3 of us have been inseparable since they came into my life! I’m not married and don’t have any human children so my dogs are my everything aka fur babies! I got Nala and Penny from a coworkers cousin who’s dog had just had a bunch of puppies.

I’m not married and don’t have human kids so it’s just me and the dogs in my house! They sleep with me in my bed everynight. Nala loves to cuddle with me on the couch at night and watch reality shows! She’s also enjoys our daily neighborhood walks as well as running around in our backyard! She is much more calmer then her sister but she still loves to be playful!

I was on a company absence from avoiding being laid off last year but with that brought financial hardship which I am still recovering from. I barely have enough to pay my monthly bills. I bare the thought of loosing Nala because I can’t afford these procedures to be don.

In September of last year a bad vet misdiagnosed her multiple times in the course of a week which lead her to have to be admitted into the hospital where they learned there was something stuck in her throat. She now has esophageal stricture from having it stuck in there for so long and she now needs a feeding tube along with multiple esophageal balloon procedures which will take place at AUCVM .

Nala is the biggest cuddle buddy! As much as she loves to run around her favorite thing to do is to lay in my arms and watch tv or take a nap in my arms! Her favorite toys include her Lilo and Stitch stuffed animals. Nala absolutely loves doggie ice cream and would eat those all day if you let her. Her hidden talent is doing turning jumps in the air when you ask if she wants to go play outside!
