Nala is a 3 year old American Staffordshire Terrier in Springfield, MO, who needs $2,200 for Emergency Exploratory Surgery.

Nala came into my life at a very low point in it when I really needed something to care for to keep me going. She is coming through a lot of loss including the walls of her human mother just before Thanksgiving of last year. She is the sweetest most playful thing. She's honestly never met a stranger she loves everyone and everything. If she sees somebody upset she makes it her duty to show love

While we were outside last night somebody shot her with a pellet gun and the bullet is lodged in her abdomen causing internal damage and is in need of immediate emergency surgery. I have to come up with $2,200 within 3 hours now in order to save her life as she saved mine. She deserves this more than I could ever explain.

No matter how long I'm going whether it's 5 seconds or 5 days she's greeting me as if I've been gone forever. She is very sweet and loving. Her best friends are three cats. She treats them like they're her kids and is so gentle with them. She absolutely loves kids and loves her human siblings. She has bad separation anxiety from me.

I exhausted all my income to get her into the emergency vet clinic last night. And I actually just lost my job a week ago. And in the process of having to move. She is the reason I exist and without her I have nothing anymore.
