Nana came into my life as a companion and has been part of my household for several years. She lives indoors with me and is my only pet. I chose her name because it fit her personality, and she quickly became a constant presence and emotional support in my daily life.

She is currently facing a suspected gastrointestinal blockage. She has been vomiting and has stopped eating, drinking, and using the bathroom. She was seen at VEG south loop, where imaging was recommended. Watching her suffer and become weak has been heartbreaking, and she urgently needs diagnostic care to determine the next steps.

Nana is gentle, affectionate, and deeply bonded to me. She follows me everywhere and always senses when I need comfort. Seeing her in pain and not acting like herself has been devastating. Nana brings so much love and joy into my life, and I’m doing everything I can to give her the chance to heal.
