Nanuk is a 6-year-old Siberian Husky in Kenosha, WI, who needs $2,000 for Pneumothorax Surgery.

Nanuk came into my life from a humane society shelter at the age of 3 months old. He's now 6 years of age and also lives with my other dog Zenzi they are only 6 months apart in age so they grew up together. We've traveled to Colorado together before getting zenzi and he loves his car rides and park time.

Nanuk likes to cuddle when he feels like it and has a big personality. He loves kids, gives them plenty of kisses and loves people. He likes to sleep on the bed most of the time and curl up into a ball, or make the bed a mess by jumping around and putting his face all over the pillows. He will talk to you when he wants something. He's a big lovable polar bear 🐻‍❄️ ❤️

He loves to play with his girlfriend Zenzi and run around the backyard or park and have the zoomies . He makes me laugh when he tells me no to coming inside the house or when I tell him to come here. He has that husky personality for sure, I just have such a strong bond with both of my dogs and don't know what I would do if something happened to one of my fur babies.

I brought my dog into my vet for treatment due to his struggling with his breathing, no appetite, and unable to get into a comfortable spot in order to fall asleep. They informed me he has addisons disease and also they just informed me today that he has Pneumothorax which is a condition where air or gas accumulates in the space between the lungs and the chest wall, causing the collapse of the lung

This was an unexpected cost and I've spent $2,000 already trying to figure out what is going on with Nanuk. I'm out of money and am in dyer need and have no financial help from family members cause they struggle. It's so hard to sit here and watch him struggle to breathe.
