Naomi- a name that means “ kind” is a Beagle / terrier mix and a rescue- she has lived with us for 6 years in our house and has plenty of guarded yard space to roam and explore

She is THE BEST Companion and always is by our side especially in the kitchen, on the couch or in bed -always game for a long hike on our local trails or a walk around the neighborhood- she was always a pup full of pep with excitement when we came home- she favors mama the most because I’m always home-
She protects her turf by making her presence known but never bites - just a kind , sweet dog

A few months ago , she became lethargic ,wasn’t eating, was losing weight /coughing & couldn’t jump the bed -vet saw a cloudy area in an x-ray & referred us to VCA Shoreline Vet Hospital in Shelton /Dr Taikowski- needle biopsy, ultrasound, blood work & treatment for high blood calcium- conducted-($3500) & a THYMOMA - tumor of the thymus found-CT SCAN ($3000) NEEDED then SURGERY -($8000)

We’re a one income family - 1 child in college & 1 HS Junior -college costs are rising -My husband is 59 & doesn’t know the fate of his job- we will have to downsize soon -Naomi SAVED us & provided emotional support after my father passed & helped our depression/anxiety
