Nelson is a 8 year old Rottweiler in Milton, WV, who needs $8,800 for Gallbladder/Liver Bacterial Infectiom.

Nelson was adopted by me from the doggy daycare that I used to work at. He arrived and I loved his name so he has always been Nelson. I call him Nelly, Smelly, and all sorts of names.

He spent two nights in the ICU where they still were unable to pinpoint what was wrong but knew he was fighting an infection and that his liver enzymes had gone from slightly elevated to off the chart. After adding a second antibiotic his fever finally broke and they sent him home on Sunday . Now we have him at a specialist and it’s very expensive and we’re running out of options.

Nelson is the most amazing dog ever. Anyone who meets him instantly falls in love with him. He has a kitty brother who is absolutely obsessed with him and looks at him like his father. He loves to play. He loves to be outside. He is a very vocal dog who loves to sing in the middle of the night. He’s our best friend and we couldn’t even fathom going without his love and tenderness.

We’ve had him in the emergency room four times in a week. We have the money to take care of him thus far but depending on how much time he needs, our funds are being spent at a drastic rate. This is the last hope we have to get our son healthy again.
