Neo is a 3-year-old Orange Tabby Cat in Port Huron, MI, who needs $2,000 for Surgical Removal of Cancerous Tumor.

Hi there! This is Neo, he’s my 3 year old rescue. I adopted him in 2020 during the humane society’s “empty the shelters” even and we’ve been besties ever since.

Neo spends most of his days sleeping in odd places. He loves the bathroom and more specifically the bathtub. You can catch him licking the faucet any time he makes an appearance in the bathroom.

Neo has some of the most bizarre mannerisms I’ve ever seen in a cat. There’s a saying about orange cats that all orange cats share one single brain cell LOL which for sure seems true. He’s such a goofy funny boy.

I took Neo to the vet when I noticed a small red bump in his ear. The vet did a biopsy of the bump and found that it was cancerous. The cancer he has is called a mast cell tumor. If caught early and surgically removed the prognosis is very good, it more than likely will not spread or come back. Unfortunately because of where Neo’s tumor is he will probably need to have his entire ear removed.

On August 1st I’m moving to a new city. I just spent a small fortune on moving costs and it’s left me in a really tight spot financially. Neo does have health insurance however there is a hefty deductible to pay before his coverage kicks in.
