Neo is a 12 Year Old Mix-Breed in Jersey City, NJ, Who Needs $2,000 for Exam, Tumor Surgery & Bloodwork.

Neo was rescued from a hoarding situation. He was basically feral. I’d never seen an animal so afraid. They tried dissuading me, because they didn’t think that he was adoptable. After a long while & a lot of patience, he came around…thanks to my other cat, Cosette. Now, he’s 12 & very sick.

It started over a month ago. I thought that the loss of muscle mass was due to aging.

Neo started sleeping all of the time & dropping weight quickly. I’ve dealt with kidney disease…with the exception of the weight, it’s different. He was eating a lot, drinking & pooping. But, he wasn’t drinking tons of water or peeing a lot. I’m thinking tumor, pancreatitis or kidney disease. Now, he barely eats or drinks. He just lies in the draftiest corner of, staring.
Our vet is Bond Vet.

After Neo’s start in life, he has become a big, affectionate boy. He’s big…not fat, just large. He’s scared of strangers & hides, but loves to cuddle. I live alone, so it’s just me, Neo & my other furbaby, Rue.

I live on social security & my rent takes a big chunk of it. I dropped their insurance after being denied twice for invalid reasons. Unfortunately, I didn’t find another insurance before he became sick. I have no money until the 1st & I don’t know if he’ll make it.
