Neva is a 15 year old Chihuahua in Waynesville, NC, who needs $2,000 for Dental Surgery.

Our little dog Neva has been with us since she was 6 weeks old. Her name means "white snow." We named her that because the tips of her feet and tail are white and it looks like she walked through the snow. She is now 15; we also have two other chihuahuas, who are 12 and 9 years old. She has been an amazing, very loyal and loving little dog to our special needs family.

Neva is in desperate need of dental care. It can not be put off any longer without affecting her health. I'm very stressed because we can not afford the procedure she needs (and the dentals for our two other dogs). I don't want her to be in pain after she has provided emotional support to us at integral times. I also don't want to have to disrupt her deep bond by rehoming.

Neva is the type of dog who can tell if someone is sad and will never leave their side until they are feeling better. Being an emotional support dog comes very naturally to her. She will also randomly get the zoomies just to make you smile. She has been there for us through some trying times, and now in her senior years, she needs us to be there for her.

We are devastated that we can't afford our dogs' vet care. We've had a few job losses using up our tax return/emergency fund and have been living paycheck to paycheck. We are currently trying to save for heating oil as well. We would really appreciate any help we can get.
