I adopted Nevada from Reno Nevada (hence the name) when she was 3 1/2 months old. The first time I saw her I fell in love and knew she had to come home with me. I was living in California and had to make an extra trip back for her so I could be sure everything was ready for her to join us. She has served as a loyal companion and protector. She helped tremendously as I recovered from back surgery and my husband as he deals with ongoing medical conditions. She is also a therapy dog for me. The thought of not having her in my life is almost unbearable and that is why we are doing the very best to get the care she desperately needs.
