Neveah is a 9 year old Labrador Retriever in Memphis, TN, who needs $8,000 for Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLC).

I’ve had Nevaeh since she was 7 weeks old. She’s my emotional support animal and the reason I keep fighting through my mental disabilities. She’s my world and my stability. Neveah moved to Memphis with me and we have grown up together. I was 19 when I got her, and I am 29 now. She has truly been with me my entire adult life so far, through every struggle and lesson, and I learn from her now.

Nevaeh has bilateral ligament tears that are rapidly worsening. Each week she loses more strength and struggles to stand, walk, or rise without pain. She refuses not to follow me everywhere I go. To sleep next to me every night. She needs urgent orthopedic surgery so she can be my shadow puppy and strength without all the pain. Nevaeh is a very vocal, expressive girl. She’s deeply sweet and emotionally aware. She lights up she sees me. She is the true definition of a shadow puppy. Where I go, she goes. She LOVES playing with her balls, being outside, car rides, and each and every one of her stuffed animals. She doesn’t chew them up and won’t let you damage them either! Our bond is the heart of my life.

As a disabled person struggling financially, I can’t afford her $7,500-$8,000 surgery, not alone. I will do anything for her. Having her healthy again will be everything—she’s been my happiness and strength since she was 7 weeks old, and I just want her out of pain.
