Nickel is a rescue from Mississippi. We rescued her from Mary's Dogs in NH. This is our second rescue. She is a 3 year old American Pitbull terrier mix.

While playing ball in the backyard. She injured her ACL. X-rays were taken at Hampstead Animal Hospital Hampstead NH, and both aslc need replacement. She is on 3 medication since April. We bought her braces to help with the pain and they seem to help. Surgery is scheduled for July 22nd.

Nickel loves her Mother and Father. She has 3 cats and her sister Penny, (a dog). Her favorite toy is a rock which she pushes around the yard with her nose. When she's done, she digs a hole to put the rock in. She loves to sleep with us. But now we have to carry her to bed, she is also unable to get in the car. My grandchildren love to play with her and are sad she is hurting.

My husband and I are retired on a fixed income. The total surgery will be over 14,000 dollars. We just need help with her surgery. Thanks in advance.
