Nickolas is a 16-year-old Domestic Shorthair in Federal Way, WA, who needs $1,700 for Surgical intervention for perinephric pseudocyst.

Nickolas was found as a kitten in a trashcan. He has always been a happy kitty and has always brought joy to all the people that have come in contact with him. He lived in Texas for 11 years and has now been living in Washington for 5 years. He loves to eat. Especially red gummy bears...lol. He loves to sleep on top of his human parents and give them backaches. And he loves life.

Nickolas is a fun little man. He loves his little sister Duck and his best friend LoveyDawg. He is always wanting to cuddle and sits on us every chance he has. He always wants to be close to his human dad so they are always together. He and LoveyDawg are partners in crime. What she can't reach he will knock to the ground so she can open and then they both eat whatever goodies come out of it.

I am so grateful to have a job especially in these times when COVID has taken so much from so many. But we are barely making ends meet and Nickolas is family. We love him so much and can not imagine life without him. He deserves the best.

Two years ago Nicolas developed high blood pressure and lost his sight. Recently we found that he has a cyst on one of his kidneys that is also pushing on his intestines. He also has a heart murmur and needs to see a cardiologist in order to have surgery to remove the cyst. Dr. Jewel Milo and the staff at Summit Veterinary Referral Center have been great in diagnosing and treating Nickolas.

Nickolas is always following us wherever we go in the house. His favorite thing to play with is a paper bag. He loves to play in it and then tear it into a million little pieces. It is so fun to watch. He is blind and always walking into things but that doesn't stop him. His courage is heartwarming. You cant watch him do his kitty things without smiling.
