Nico is a 11 year old German Shepherd Dog in Albuquerque, NM, who needs $2,000 for Rhinoscopy.

Nico is 11 years old. He was adopted at 2 months from Animal Humane. He is a sweet and loving dog. Loves cuddles. He coaxed a feral cat to come live with us! She is his baby. He watches and protects his “Negrita”.

Nico developed Epistaxis (bloody nose) a month ago. He sneezes out lots of bloody mucus. Our regular vet ran blood tests (all good) and prescribed antibiotics. Referred to VCA Veternary Care Animal Hospital. Could be something lodged in nose, tumor, abscess or cancer. They recommend diagnostic rhinoscopy and CAT scan. Cost for both $7339.85, rhinoscopy alone $3427.12. Treatment?

Nico loves to explore the yard daily by his Dad’s side. He looks for his little sister cat (Negrita) and greets with kisses! Nico loves to bark at UPS , Fedx and postal trucks. He waits daily for our postal lady who spoils him with treats. He is definitely a treat monster!!!

We don’t know what we will do without our son Nico. Our hands are tied as we are on SS and still pay a mortgage. We used up all our “savings” on vet appointments.
