Nigel is a 15 year old Mix-Breed in Lanham, MD, who needs $2,000 for Dental.

Nigel came to me as a little puppy from a not so nice removing situation. His big personality, intelligence, and humor have brought so much joy to me over the last 15 years. To say he is my best friend is an understatement.

Nigel has had his fair share of health challenges that he has overcome. He currently lives with a heart murmur. Right now we are managing his Cushings disease. The medication is pricey. He just popped up with a swollen face and abcess. With the Cushings treatments it has put me in a bind.

Nigel is the spunkiest, sweetest, little ham. He will make you love him. I have many friends who'd lived in fear of dogs since childhood and with my gentle talks and upon meeting Nigel have been able to overcome those fears. He's always invited to all the parties and cookouts. Nigel makes his rounds to visit, protect, and sleep near each family member before returning to my room every night.

The medications to treat Nigel's cushings are pricey. Accompanied by the vet visits and tests. I just will not be able to manage an additional emergency vet visit for this tooth/extraction abcess. I'm also concerned about the process because of his age and heart murmur.
