Niko is a 3 year old American Bulldog in Wilmington, NC, who needs $1,200 for Heartworm Treatment.

Niko came into our life as a rescue at 7 weeks old. He had our heart from day one and there is nothing I would not do for him. We named him after a country singer, that one of our best friends in heaven and myself liked. Niko was his name from the minute I layed my eyes on him.

Niko, unfortunately, has been diagnosed with heartworms. Although it could be worse, this has devastated me and hit me at a time where I do not have $1200 to spend to get him the treatment.

Niko is the most sweetest dog there is. He is gentle with our 2 little dogs and takes care of our older dog. Everything facinates him from motorcycles to butterflies. He is very sensitive and does not like to get in any trouble (even though he's not perfect) He sleeps with me every single night and wakes up slowly, not hitting the ground running. I could go on and on, but he is my heart and soul!

We have had several catastrophic and unexpected expenses that have happened all together and that is the reason for this fundraiser. I ran my own rescue for 3 years and paid everything out of pocket for the rescues. I am hoping karma comes back around and helps Niko!
