About this campaign

Nina came into our lives when she was 4 months old. I found her on Craigslist and instantly fell in love! After a phone call and house visit, she was part of the family. Nina fit right in, she loved our weekend car rides, playing soccer with my oldest, pup cups from Starbucks, long walks to the shopping center and playing with all the critters my daughter would bring home.

Nina loves to play soccer! She will run the ball down and bring it back to you; or try to steal it from between your legs. She loves watching fish, playing in the snow…the more snow; the happier she is. Nina used to sleep in my room but when I had my youngest, she has been glued to his hip. From the moment he came home from the hospital, she was at his side. 6 years later and there is no change.

Nina loves to watch TV, she reacts to other animals and run up to the TV barking and growling, she’s more entertaining than the show. She has a funny way of telling you her water bowl is empty; she will do what we call, a zombie walk. She will walk in super slow motion until we notice her and fill her water bowl.

Nina has had great health up until about 2 years ago, she started having skin allergies and ear infections. We switched to a raw diet and had her ear infections treated every year. Sadly the end of last year we noticed a growth in her under belly. I took her to 2 vets and got the same diagnosis; she needs surgery. Our animal hospital has been great in diagnosis and helping me treat what I can.

I am currently a single mother going to school full time. Nina has always been spoiled and well taken care of but now at this time, I don’t have the money to help her and it’s devastating. Nina is family, she is my sons best-friend and and amazing companion.
