Nina is a 9 year old Mix-Breed in Las Vegas, NV, who needs $2,000 for Spinal Surgery.

My two daughters and I took Nina in as a foster in March of 2024. Her previous owner had passed away and she was in need of a new home. We quickly fell in love with her and decided to adopt her. Nina was just what our family needed.

On January 24, we noticed Nina couldn’t put weight on her hind legs. We took her to the vet, after x-rays, it was determined that she has spinal injury which requires surgery. She no longer has any mobility in her hind legs. Nina is currently on medication for pain management. She was seen by Dr. Cuddles Animal Hospital in PetSmart.

Nina loves all people and animals! Her favorite activities before her were injury were fast walks and running in the backyard. She enjoys her squeaky toys and getting belly rubs. Nina would often groom and play with her sister Gillian. She is also a sister to Benny and our senior foster Hazel. Nina has unforgettable soulful eyes and a very sweet demeanor. You can’t help but fall in love with her!

The approximate cost for Nina’s surgery and rehabilitation is $10,000. We are a family currently on financial aid and unfortunately don’t have the funds to pay for her surgery. It would mean the world to us to see Nina able to walk, run, and regain her quality of life.
