Nina is a 15 year old Labrador Retriever in Morrisville, NC, who needs $2,000 for Chemotherapy, MRI, Additional Testing.

Nina has been in my life for a bit over 15 years now. She was adopted from an animal shelter in Goldsboro, NC as a pup. I adopted her when she was about 3 to 4 months old. She is my first dog and the only pet I’ve ever had. Not only is she my dog but she is also a family member as well as my baby. It breaks my heart to see her currently bedridden.

Nina was diagnosed with hypothyroidism around age 9. Last year she started losing filling in her hind legs and eventually these became unable for her to use as of two weeks ago. After visiting her vet, Preston Animal Hospital, they diagnosed her with lymphoma cancer as well as a few other underlying conditions. The vet told me at this stage. She would need ICU located at NC State veterinary school

Nina has always been a family pet. The one thing I always loved about her was her fearlessness. She was never a fan of toys, but she loved interacting with people and nature. She loved to jog, explore, and also take road trips with me. Although I was never a hunter, she loved discovering animals and bringing them back to me. She’s the most loving dog I could have ever wished for.

Me being a single person has put me in a bind because all her recent medical expenses have been costly. I want to do my best to ensure she gets the greatest care.
