I rescued Nine as a kitten after tragically watching a speeding car strike and kill his mother while she was moving his litter across a street. We took him in, and he's been family ever since. He lives happily in our home alongside our other pets, completely adored, loved, and safe until this terrible accident turned our world upside down.

This is a severe emergency. Days ago, a reckless scooter rider hit Nine. He suffered a horrific compound fracture, completely shattering and separating his radius and ulna. He is currently at home but urgently requires a specialist to surgically reattach his bones before they set incorrectly and require a painful re-breaking.

Nine is incredibly special because he truly believes he is part of the dog pack! Like clockwork, whenever I take the dogs for a walk, Nine insists on trotting right alongside us. He genuinely thinks he’s helping lead the way. Seeing this sweet survivor faithfully marching with us on our daily walks fills my heart with so much joy and love.

This was a sudden, devastating expense. We scraped together our last $700 just to cover his emergency exam and X-rays. We desperately need $1,000 for his life-saving specialist surgery to fix his leg. We just want our helpful boy healthy again.
