I got Nipsey as a gift when he was 12 weeks old. He was the last one left of a "surprise" litter. A few months after I got him my boyfriend became physically and emotionally abusive. Nipsey would hide with me, comfort me and lick my tears. Shortly after that I found out I was pregnant. My boyfriend left me when I was 7 months along and Nipsey and I went through my pregnancy together. I would get sick while I had to pick up his poo on our walk lol! He was my constant companion. He would go everywhere with me and be the reason I would smile most days. When my son was born Nipsey took on the responsibility as his protector. He would find his pacifiers for him, take his socks off, bark off strangers when they came around his stroller to see "the new baby". My son and him formed an unbreakable bond. They were partners in crime. When my son would spill his Cherios, Nipsey would be there to help him. He would wake him up each morning and "help" get the sticky syrup off of his hands! When we would travel in the car Nipsey would ride in my son's car seat with him keeping him entertained. They are both good travelers! Over the years Nipsey was there to always greet us and make us smile. He wouldn't like when we left and would "Nip" at our ankles. Nipsey is definitely one of the family.
