Nirvana is a 9 month old Mix-Breed in Richmond, VA, who needs $2,000 for Internal Medicine Care and Diagnostic Treatment.

We rescued Nirvana in December of 2024. We found out soon after he has FHV-1 and a weakened immune system. He's a total mom to our other cat, Willow. Nirvana loves to run around the house, chase his jingle ball, and feast on tuna and salmon treats.

Nirvana recently came down with an inexplicably high fever, and was hospitalized for 5 days in critical condition. Now he's back home, but we haven't been able to get a diagnosis for the root of his sickness. He needs to be seen by an internal medicine specialist. He's been having trouble eating and throwing up.

Nirvana has his own favorite shows, including H2O: Just Add Water, and loves when me or my partner play violin or guitar for him. He's the type that follows us around the house, purring and accompanying us throughout the day. He's always waiting by the door when we get home. he hates chicken flavored foods, but will go crazy for anything fish flavored!

We are a low income household, and when rescuing Nirvana, we weren't expecting thousands of dollars in medical expenses. I have pressing medical expenses of my own, and we don't have enough savings built up to afford the care Nirvana needs.
