Nisbo is a gentle giant! He is one of the most loving dogs that I have ever had! He came into my life about 5 years ago when a "friend" of my nephew asked my dad if he could leave the dog at his house for a short time. He never returned, and the dog was locked in a kennel all day everyday. The dogs that lived at the house attacked him and he was left badly injured, and we had to take him in!

When I first took him in, I brought him to the vet immediately. They treated him and his injuries healed, only to be diagnosed with heartworms. Luckily, the injections were successful and he was healthy again. Earlier this year I noticed growths on his scrotal area and then another appeared overnight on his eyelid. He requires surgery for both areas, to be done at Banfield Hosp in N.M.B., Fl.

Nisbo is my best friend! We have conversations, I talk and he grunts, and rarely barks unless there is a thunderstorm. Every day he wakes up and stands next to my bed, if I don't react, he'll hit the bed with his paw. He loves saying Good Morning, and loves looking out the window when we go on outings. My husband is away and won't be back for years, & Nisbo is his baby, but now he's my best friend

As I said, my husband is not around right now, and I am disabled and unemployed at the moment. I am trying to gather the funds, but it's very difficult right now as I am literally living day to day. Any help in saving my best friend would be truly appreciated & grateful!
