Nittie is a 9 year old Mix-Breed in Durham, NC, who needs $400 for Apoquel Treatment for the Next Few Months.

We’ve had nittie since she was just a couple months old, she was my birthday present right before i went into the 6th grade! She lives with me, my father and my younger brother. We currently live in a smaller apartment but despite that she goes on frequent walks around our complex!

Nittie has had ongoing ear infections for a long time, and it has been challenging figuring out why she keeps getting them. But with that being solved she has had ongoing skin allergies that we haven’t been able to figure out the root cause of, we were able to get help from a program called beyond fences and we currently see St. Francis animal hospital as her primary vet.

She’s a very funny dog with a very big personality, and she can be very specific with certain things. Despite her age, she is very energetic and really enjoy life, she is a very picky eater and you can’t trick her with things, she very smart. She often talks a lot and has a lot of attitude, even though she turns ten next year she still gets the zoomies and loves playing with us no matter the time

With Nitties skin allergies, despite medical baths and all that the only thing that helped was Apoquel, which was recently prescribed by her vet, but with the ongoing rise of costs in all factors of our lives we can’t afford we just cannot afford her medicine.
