We got Nico when he was 8 weeks old he has always been the chillest dog out there. He lives at home with me, my daughter and 3 year old grandson that is battling leukemia currently.

We are at med vet Tuesday he went to his dr, Wednesday they contacted us his labs showed diabetes. He. Started meds on Thursday but had a bump on his back leg and it was an infection and he was in DKA. They kept him over night today he is still no better and I am sitting here.

He loves everyone he likes to run with my grandson and sit and just watch life happen. He has always been a good boy loves to play fetch and belly rubs.

I am on disability I do not work my daughter can not work with my grandsons cancer condition.we lost a dog in December to autoimmune skin disorder and I know my grandson still doesn’t understand what happened to him and now he is crying for Nico.
