Noctis is my best friend. I found him as a puppy and the vet said he was about 5 weeks old. I brought him home and our Westy adopted him as her puppy. Noctis has been by my side for 4 years , he loves to jump, play in the water ,chase Frisbys and balls, and he is a cuddle bug. He sleeps with me, gives me kisses, and tells me he loves me with his eyes. He loves doing tricks and the agility course.

Noctis loves our family. He crawls into my mom's lap, all 72 pounds of him, plays with my grandmother's 7 year old Westy, avoids the rain as much as possible and carries his favorite toy to bed. He is protective and doesn't care for strangers, but when he gets to know them, he treats them.like family.

I lost my job right after I found out about Noctis's condition. I have sold many of my personal belongs trying to get the money to save my dog. Noctis is my best friend and I want to see him play in the water, chase his Frisby and give me kisses. I love and need him.

During the pandemic last year, I was unable to continue with his heartworm prevention. I took him this year to update his shots and was told he had heartworms. Dr. Bell, at Banfield Vet Clinic in Spotsylvania, VA, has given me a protocol, including several prescriptions and treatment, and said he should be fine and I would have him for a long time.

Noctis really likes to have his rear just above his tail scratched and he shakes his rear when I scratch it for him. He also sits on me when we play and teases me with what ever we are playing with ; pretends to give it then puts it behind me, backs up and looks at me with a twinkle in his eye, he will also act like he will give it to me, turn his head and pounce backward then give me the toy.
