For seven years, Nori has been so much more than a family dog. She has been a constant companion, a protector, an adventure buddy, and a beloved part of the family.
When a mass developed near Nori’s anus, her family knew she needed veterinary care. What began as treatment for what appeared to be an infection wasn’t enough, and Nori ultimately needed surgery to remove the mass.
Thanks to the incredible support of her Waggle community, Nori was able to receive the care she needed. 🐾
For her mom, this meant being able to give her beloved companion the chance to keep enjoying the life they have built together—from traveling across the country to cuddling beneath the blankets during thunderstorms and being there for her granddaughter as a cherished childhood protector.

Meet Nori, a sweet 7-year-old Dachshund mix from Florida who has been a loyal companion, protector, and beloved member of her family for years. Now, this devoted little dog needs her family to be there for her.
Nori's journey began when her mom rescued her stray mother, Cinnamon, who later gave birth to Nori. From the very beginning, Nori was meant to be part of this family—and she has spent the past seven years filling their lives with love.
She has traveled across the country with her mom, been her constant companion, and became a beloved protector and childhood friend to her granddaughter. During thunderstorms, Nori would hide under the blankets with her family, always finding comfort in the people she loved most.
But recently, everything changed.
Nori's family discovered a mass near her anus. She was initially treated with medication for an infection, but the mass has remained and now needs to be surgically removed. Her surgery is estimated to cost approximately $800–$920.
Thankfully, Nori's family has already received a $400 grant, but they still need to raise an additional $400 to help cover the remaining cost of her surgery.
For Nori's mom, this isn't simply a veterinary bill. Nori is her ride-or-die companion, her granddaughter's childhood protector, and the best friend she never knew she needed. She wants nothing more than to give Nori the medical care she needs and keep their family together.
