About this campaign

Hungry and with no one to care for him, poor Norman started wandering around a construction site, where the crews were tossing him food. Norman was finally rescued and the mast cell tumor on his neck was removed. Norman was then transferred to our Sanctuary so that we could provide the specialized, lifetime care he needs.

A hound that loves everyone, Norman is as sweet and gentle as they come. He is a friend to all the hounds at The Sanctuary and is adored by his caretakers. Although he's dealing with cancer and came to us with a heavy intestinal parasite load that's been treated, Norman doesn't let this get him down.

Norman loves to snuggle with his caretaker and take long naps on her bed, squeezing his little body as close to hers as he can get. And, if other hounds want to join in, he's even happier. No one would ever suspect that Norman has cancer and he's an inspiration to us all.

We've started Norman on medications that will help his body cope with the histamine reactions caused by the mast cells. We are also using a combination of traditional and holistic medicines to give Norman every chance possible for a comfortable life. Sadly, Norman developed two more tumors that need to be removed.

As a non-profit animal sanctuary and hospice, we rely on donations to provide the best medical care possible. We've already raised funds for many of Norman's lab tests, but we need help with his surgery bills. Can you help this sweet soul?
