About this campaign
I got my pet from a breader in 2018 as I wanted a dog. I got her as a puppy when she was 16 weeks old and she has been with me ever sense. There was many dogs to choose from but I decided on my nova as she had this cute little Mohawk on her nose and that is what made me choose her. She has been a great dog and is so sweet to everyone she meets.
When I first got nova, she lived in a house with me and my mom and my sister and my brother. Now I live alone with her in an apartment so majority of the time it is just me and her. My brother and sister now have their own places and live to take their niece for the weekend or come over and visit her all the time. She interacts and loves everyone that she meets and is very comfortable with people.
My dog is special in many ways. She acts just like me and matches my energy. She knows when it is time to wind down for the night when it is time to chill so she will come over and sleep or relax right by my feet. Since she is a border collie she is a hearding dog so whenever you’re walking or playing with her she will go right in between your legs tripping you up which is very funny as she loves.
Currently nova has an ulcer in her left eye. She has to get a surgery called a grid keratotomy to help eliminate her ulcer. The procedure is time sensitive to that the ulcer does not continue to irritate her or cause permanent damage.
I am currently in nursing school full time and working full time. I do not have the extra funds to pay for this surgery and I am in deep debt with unable to work more hours because of school. To get this surgery will give me piece of mind for my dogs well being and financial
