Nova is a 8 year old Rat Terrier in Raleigh, NC, who needs $2,000 for Diabetes/Diabetic Ketosis Treatment.

Nova was a rescue from the Houston floods. I got him at 10 months. He loves laying in the sun, being with his dog sister, haunch scratches, walks either by paw or in his stroller, belly rubs, chasing rabbits and giving kisses.

Nova just got diagnosed with diabetes. The first week he had to be hospitalized for several days with diabetes ketosis, a life threatening side effects. I am still determining underlaying causes and treatments because I had to borrow money for the hospitalization. The extent of his condition(s) will be known better soon. He was seen at Primary Vet Banfield and emergency vet Blue Pearl in Raleigh.

Nova loves getting loved on, with ear scratches, belly rubs, and but rubs. He loves lying in the sun on his back. He loves grooming his dog sister, another rescue. He loves walks and acting 4x his size.

I lost my job in April and haven't found a new comparable one yet. I got a free certificate program to help my skills. I had to borrow from family for his emergency hospitalization and with that had to refuse treatments/diagnosed because I didn't have the money.
