About this campaign
We brought Nova home on January 29, 2022, and she has been a dream. She is playful, full of life and very clingy ...LOL. Nova lives with her adopted dad and mom with 3 teenage siblings.
Nova was the heart and soul of the household. From the moment she joined the family, she has brought an endless supply of joy and energy to everyone's lives. Each morning, Nova would leap onto the bed, pawing at our blanket until we couldn't help but join in her early morning antics. Nova's playful nature had truly woven her into the fabric of the household.
Nova, with her playful and loving nature, had an array of idiosyncratic behaviors that made her stand out as truly one-of-a-kind. Despite her boundless energy, Nova had a softer side too. Each night, she would leap onto the couch, maneuver herself into a tight ball, and gently paw at her favorite blanket until it was draped over her.
Nova has pyometra. The treatment for pyometra typically involves surgical removal of the infected uterus (spaying). This procedure, known as an ovariohysterectomy, is often the most effective way to resolve the condition. Pyometra can progress rapidly and become life-threatening.
As responsible pet owners, we've always endeavored to provide the best care for Nova. However, the costs associated with her diagnosis, treatment, and potential surgery have created an unexpected burden on our finances. In a single-family income, we don't have the funds.
