I rescued Nova from Muttville Animal Shelter in San Francisco. Me and her have been a happy family since December 2022. She was 9 years old at the time! Now 11 in October 18. Ever since having her shes been glued by my side, following me everywhere. Nova and I have moved around quite a few times since being together but each time she has been my rock.

Nova has a level 4-6 heart murmur which causes breathing and heart complications. On Oct23, Nova will be having an important cardiologist visit that will help us navigate her health and plan our next steps for her to live a more comfortable life. She will have her cardiologist appointment at SF Animal Medical Center with a phenomenal cardiologist. If left untreated Nova may only have a year left.

I love Nova because she is my
velcro dog. She loves being outdoors hence why I bought her a stroller. Due to her heart she cannot walk much anymore, but with the stroller I take her everywhere. Nova lets me dress her up and she has so many outfits. Shes curious and friendly - she has never barked at a dog when when they bark first. She loves to "nest" and sleep and watch King of the hill.

Nova is my daughter through and through. I have invested in her medication, stroller and vet visits all on my own. If left untreated Nova may only have a year left with me which crushes me for she is my world. Help would change Nova's life literally.
