Nova came to me like a blessing. My boyfriend Jack and I were spending the summer with his family down in Florida, when we stopped at a pet store. We saw Nova, and it was love at first sight. We took her home with us to CT, and since then it has been great. This cat is my soulmate. She is my everything. I just want to give her the best life possible. Any little bit helps!

This past weekend, our sweet girl got her head stuck in a paper bag, and hurt her front left leg. We immediately took her to the Central Vet Hospital in Guilford CT. From there, we took her to her primary vet (Clinton vet hospital) where we learned that she fractured her front left leg, and needs emergency surgery or else we will have to amputate.

Nova is the most special cat I have ever met. Her love for her family is apparent every single day. She gets excited when she hears us come home, she jumps up on her hind legs and meows at the tops of her lungs to greet us. I will do anything and everything for this cat. But right now, I am a broke student about to start college and I need all of the help I can get.

Having Nova back to herself would mean the world to me. Seeing her healthy again would heal my heart. Any pet owner understands how terrifying it is to see your baby go through something. The last thing I want is for her to lose her leg because of financial problems.
