About this campaign

Nubz came into our life 2.5 years ago when we got him from a private rescue. Nubz was born missing his front right paw and he was the perfect match for my son who had just had his right leg amputated. Nubz helped my son cope with depression after loosing his leg. He gave my son hope of being able to function with out limits.

Nubz is a very big part of our house hold. He has helped my son through a lot of depression issues. Nubz knows when something is wrong with my son or if my son is not feeling well. Nubz will lay right beside my son while he is not feeling well. If Nubz senses something else is wrong with my son he will come up to me a meow until I follow him to my son .

We are a family on a fixed income. Me and my son are both disabled and struggle to pay our normal bills a month. We did not expect to have to come up with emergency money to save Nubz life. NUBZ IS OUR BABY AND IT WOULD BE AMAZING IF WE COULD GET HELP TO PAY FOR HIS CARE.

We had gotten a dog from a women who stated the dog was great with other animals and children . The dog seemed to be ok with the cat. Well as we all went to bed, we were woken to a growling sound. We walked into living room to see Nubz being shaken back and forth .Nubz needed his leg amputated at Palmetto Animal Hospital. He needs follow up appts and I cant afford them.

Nubz is very people friendly and has a great personality . He loves to cuddle but can be very playful at times as well. Nubz enjoys belly rubs. He also enjoys being able to climb under the covers and watch tv with my son. Nubz is very caring and knows when something is not right with a family member.
