Nubz is a rescue dog. She is a sweet and loyal dog. She is shy. I do not know her history before she was taken to the shelter. She has been lovingly cared for since and has had regular vet visits. Although vet bills have been a hardship we've sacrificed for her care. She has developed cataracts in both eyes. Making it hard for her to see. This surgery is more than we can afford.

Nubz sits at my feet at all times. She never leaves my side. She is such a loyal and attentive dog. She doesn't play or walk around much since can't see very well with her obviously cloudy eyes. But she will follow me anywhere. If I leave her, she will sit and wait for me to return. She tolerates her 3 feline siblings and chickens in the yard like she's one of them.

Nubz has filled an emptiness I had in my heart. She has shown me that it is possible to be loved unconditionally. Her gentle nature and sweet personality makes everyone who meets her love her. She is unsure of how to "play" but does wiggle and curl her body with excitement when you tell her she's a good girl.

She has had a pretty good medical history since being adopted. Checkups and shots when needed. She recently finished medicine for a fungal skin infection. We are hoping she can regain her sight and be the active dog she was born to be. Since she cannot see well she doesn't walk much and is gaining weight.

While we could sacrifice enough to afford general vet care we can't come up with the funds in total quick enough to restore her sight. She deserves to be able to see her adopted family. She deserves to be able to run and play without fear of what she cannot see.
