Nugget was originally my brother's cat. He came into my care because he wasn't getting the adequate care he needed. I have had him for I would say 2 years now and he is my best friend.

Right now, Nugget is fighting a bacterial infection called Mycoplasma. It is an infection which attaches itself to red blood cells in the body. Community Cat Clinic in Woodstock helped finally figure out what was going on with him and he has to have consistent vet visits to make sure his red blood count is rising with the help of antibiotics and a steroid.

Nugget is a very sweet cat. He has been my light in my life since he came into my care and I can't imagine my life without him. He's an adventurous soul and that's what caused him to get the infection, but I'm doing everything I can to make sure he's healthy again. My world revolves around him and I wouldn't trade him for anything.

I have been trying my best with the cost of vet bills and have been denied for multiple things that would help me with the costs. I just need a little help and it would mean everything to me if I had support to get my boy back to his normal self.
