A New Beginning Interrupted: Nugget Needs Urgent Parvo Treatment

We recently rescued Nugget from BARC in Houston, TX, where he was at risk of euthanasia due to lack of space. The Rescue Coop knew we had to give him a chance.

While at our vet, we received heartbreaking news. Nugget began feeling sick and tested positive for parvo, a serious and potentially deadly virus, especially for puppies.

We are hopeful he can fight through this since he had started his vaccinations, but right now he is very sick and needs intensive care. Nugget is currently hospitalized and in isolation so he can receive the treatment he needs.

The estimated cost of his care is $2000 which includes antibody treatment to give him the best possible chance at survival.
