Nugget is a 1-year-old Lab Mix in Leeds, ME, who needs $1,337 for Heartworm Treatment.

Nugget came to us from a family member that was having heart problems and couldn't keep him due to being in the hospital so much. Right now we are living in the country with tons of space and he is loving life with us and our three boys. He loves playing with other dogs and cats as well. He is so friendly to everyone. He always makes new friends.

Nugget loves the snow. It was his first winter and he loves leaping through the snow and biting snowballs mid air. One of his favorite things to do is go for a ride in the car. He also loves playing catch or tug of war. He gives tons of kisses especially to our three boys. He also really enjoys hikes and swimming. He is just so full of love and energy.❤️

Nugget is a very special dog he just seems to know when you need love. He is the kind of dog that can give you a look and make your day. He is constantly doing goofy things that make us smile or laugh. He is so full of love. I want to train him to be a therapy dog to visit schools and be a reading buddy and go to hospitals and make people have a better day receiving love from this fur buddy.

Nugget is currently needing help for the treatment of heartworm he just got diagnosed the results got back today. He was tested on 4-11-23. Dr. Pomeroy is a very compassionate doctor. He is also going to need an ultrasound, x-rays and bloodwork after the treatment is started to see how treatment is working

Right now we are waiting for our work to start up at a local tent shop usually we will be busy by June and wouldn't need help. We have spent all our savings building a tiny home. We wouldn't ask for help but he needs treatment for heartworm now. Please help Nugget!
