Nugget was an abandoned kitten I found in an alley behind my house. He was about 8 weeks old and sickly when I brought him in my house. I treated his upper respiratory and I’ve had him almost a year now.

I got Nugget fixed and his shots at my local SPCA. A few weeks later he was showing signs of another upper respiratory infection, so I took him to a vet hospital within 24 hours and they diagnosed him with Pneumonia and gave me antibiotics and an anti inflammatory. As soon as he finished his any inflammatory medicine he had fluid buildup in his chest and now his abdomen. They believe he has FIP.

Nugget is truly my best friend. This little guy has been with me for almost a year now and he has brought so much joy and love into my life. I can’t express how much I love him because I don’t think there’s any words that can describe how special he is to me. I don’t want to think of my life without him.

I work 5-6 days/week. I am a server and make $2.50/hour plus tips. I rent a 2 bedroom apartment and I’m proud to say that I have been living within my means. I go out of my way to make sure Nugget has a wonderful life. I work, come home and play and spend time with Nugget.
